Madero Therapy

Madero Therapy (therapy with wooden instruments) is a therapy originating from Colombia and based on the use of anatomically designed wooden tools.

The technique of Madero Therapy involves a series of movements that are repeated using different wooden instruments.

The core of this massage technique is Lymphatic Drainage; flushing out unnecessary water, fat and toxins, while improving blood and lymph flow.

The most important part of each treatment is appropriate lymphatic drainage of every treated body part.

Patricia van Poppel is a Certified Lymphedema and Wound Care Therapist

with over 550 Hours training

- standard certification is 135 hours -

What makes this treatment unique, comparing to other alternatives such as laser, ultrasound cellulite removal or liposuction, is that it stimulates the production of elastin and collagen.

It’s a 100% natural, non-invasive method with no contraindications.

A series of 12 treatments is necessary to achieve the desired results.*

Each treatment is 55 minutes in length,  twice a week (at least)

Every treatment includes legs, stomach and waist massage.

Upon request we can add arms but have to eliminate one of the above areas due to time restrictions.

During the treatment you might experience slight tingling or discomfort but soon it will be pure relaxation.

You might experience the urge to use the bathroom after the treatment, as your body is trying to flush out all toxins that are in your system.

Madero Therapy is recommended for:

Body and mind relaxation

Stimulation of the lymphatic system

Elimination of toxins

Tonus and body tightening

Reduction of volume

*PLEASE BE AWARE: Results are very individual and I cannot guarantee your future results and/or success.

There are many factors that can negatively affect the outcome: hormonal imbalance, inadequate nutrition,  poor or slow circulation, stress, smoking, etc....

You can assist your body by maintaining a good and healthy nutrition and exercise routine and staying hydrated (2-3 l of water every day).

Cellulite & Body contouring massage

- soon to come -

Lypossage® is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that may help with temporarily diminishing the look of Cellulite

It also improves elasticity and skin tone, and helps to cleanse the body of toxins and retained fluids.

The treatment is a specific blend of massage modalities that derive from physical therapy, including deep Lymphatic Massage and Myofascial Massage.

It was created by Charles W. Wiltsie III, B.S., LMT, an internationally recognized massage therapy educator and therapist.

Mr. Wiltsie conducted a year long study of 100 female subjects that documented the effectiveness of the technique, which was published in Massage and Bodywork Magazine in 1999.

Follow up research was done in Belgium with positive results published in Healthy Beginnings Lifestyle Magazine and then again in Dermascope Magazine.

Lypossage is a very natural, non-invasive body-contouring program that may reduce inches while leaving one's weight about the same. Lypossage is not for everyone, but most healthy women who have extra bulges and imperfections respond very well to it. Many women who look into liposuction as a means of body contouring prefer Lypossage because there is no surgery, no down time and no recovery involved.

While there are some contraindications for specific medical conditions, Lypossage® can be safely experienced by most healthy individuals and can be very beneficial before and after the liposuction experience.

A diet rich in whole, organic foods and regular body movement will contribute to a terrific outcome. Avoiding foods containing refined sugar, preservatives, hormones, caffeine, and salt will keep your newly detoxified body in the best shape possible. Drinking large amounts of water is key to keeping the body cleansed.
